Mweshi is the Founding and Managing Partner of the Firm. She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from The University of Zambia and was admitted to the Bar in February 2008.

During the early years of her practice, Mweshi established a reputation of being a skilled litigator and go-to legal advisor. Following the establishment of the Firm, Mweshi has continued to succeed in civil and commercial litigation and continues to provide advisory services in various areas of law including but not limited to contract law, employment law, family law, competition and consumer protection law, insurance law, regulatory and compliance advice.
Mweshi has represented clients in merger applications, cartel investigations, restrictive business-practice matters, and general competition law compliance matters. As part of giving back to society, Mweshi provides pro bono commercial advisory services to mostly NGO’s who cannot afford to pay for legal services through Thomson Reuters Trust Law Foundation. Mweshi is not only an experienced antitrust attorney but is also an avid litigator who has acted as a commercial lawyer who has been engaged in litigation and alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration before the different tribunals and courts in Zambia. Mweshi is recognized by clients for providing critical and in-depth analysis of their legal positions in the context of the broader issues at stake.
Notable achievements include but not limited to the fact that Mweshi was:
- Recognized as a non-governmental advisor to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Zambia by the International Competition Network.
- Conducted training on mergers to Judges of the Zambian High Court and Supreme Court on behalf of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission of Zambia.
- Provided advice on various mergers and restructurings to clients in the agricultural and financial sector in Zambia.
- Defended against allegations of excessive pricing.
- Advised on raising complaints against cartels and restrictive business practices.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and obtained a certificate from Euromoney Training on taking Loan Security Documentation in 2011. She also attended a short learning certificate programme from the University of Johannesburg, Faculty of Economic and Financial Sciences on the Core Principles in Economic Regulation and Competition Economics in March 2016. On 28 June 2022, she was enrolled as a Notary Public.
